Wineglass BaySeparated from mainland Australia by the 240 km stretch of Bass Strait, Tasmania (or 'Tassie' to the locals) is an island roughly the size of West Virginia. Next stop south is Antarctica, 2000 km away.

Tasmania is a place of wild and beautiful landscapes, friendly, welcoming people, a pleasant temperate climate, boasts awesome wilderness regions, has a dramatic tragic history, and a laid-back island lifestyle. Wow! What a place.

Every day is filled with breathtaking sights as we explore the national parks of Cradle Mountain, Lake St Clair, Mt William, Mt Field and Freycinet. Each one as different as can be. And amidst all this beauty visit Port Arthur Historic Settlement, a penal colony infamous for the brutal and crushing treatment of its unfortunate inmates. From walking forest trails, to feasting on local delicacies, and enjoying the local nightlife of Hobart, Tasmania is to be enjoyed.
