The Brolgas are independently judged awards, recognising the best operators in the Northern Territory tourism industry. The judging for this award considers all aspects of the business, including the actual product, operational expertise, sales & marketing, contribution to industry and business planning.
The Brolga Awards recognise and encourage tourism businesses that strive for excellence in every area of their operation. The competition is open to tourism operators, industry suppliers and outstanding individuals, who prepare a submission in response to a series of questions and criteria that measure business excellence.
This category is open to tour and transport operators with 15 or more annual fulltime equivalent employees. It is not a transport award but does recognise a major contribution to tourism through the provision of tour guiding services and transport services. Entrants must offer a tourism experience as a significant part of their operation.
Throughout the Brolga Awards' history, the diversity and calibre of entrants has matched the vitality and growing professionalism of the Northern Territory's tourism industry. There are 26 business categories and 3 individual categories available to enter, which reflects the broad range of operators in the industry and the outstanding contribution made by many individuals.
A huge congratulations to our Northern Territory teams in particular who work tirelessly to run a professional operation, providing unforgettable tour experiences for travellers from all around the world.
